Open Innovation Summit

The first EHL Open Innovation Summit 2025 took place on May 20–21. It brought together 400 participants, 48 speakers from 20+ countries, and 25 student volunteers for 1.5 days of connection, learning, and real-time co-creation.

The summit sparked bold conversations and actionable outcomes through:

- Engaging panels and fireside chats

- Diverse workshops and hands-on co-creation spaces

- Innovation challenges and tangible solutions

- Curated matchmaking and networking

The 2025 edition focused on three thematic tracks:

1. Future of Food – Explored how tech and nature-based innovation are reshaping the food system, from AI and vertical farming to sustainable proteins and circular models that turn waste into value.

2. Regenerative Economies – Focused on shifting hospitality from sustainability to regeneration by designing business models that restore ecosystems, empower communities and activate long-term impact.

3. Luxury with Impact – Reimagined luxury as purpose-driven elegance, where beauty, sustainability and cultural authenticity converge to create experiences that give back as much as they inspire.

The outcomes? New collaborations, shared knowledge and a powerful sense of momentum for transforming the future of hospitality and beyond.
